ATHLETA #SUITUP! Body Positivity Panel and Swimwear Testing for a cause!

Join me and my fellow local fitness influencers at one of my favorite shops for activewear!

We are talkin' BODIES, baby! We're kicking off the event with a BODY POSITIVITY PANEL discussing what Body Positivity means to us and how we can support each other in sharing our stories of challenges and empowerment. 

SUIT UP! Following the event, you'll be able to try on ATHLETA swimwear! Proceeds from our event will benefit Swim Across America! Find a suit and help support cancer research. SAA directly supports childhood cancer research in the SF Bay Area while also providing resources for youth & their families while undergoing treatment. #NationalFitnessDay Workout Fundraiser!

Join us for a Special Edition of MissFit Training's Weekend Warrior Workout on May 5! 

We will be participating in the National Fitness Day nationwide event to help raise money for one of our favorite local(ish) nonprofit organizations, the Mini Mermaid Running Club

I had a chance to learn more about this awesome program for our little girls in our communities by attending their hosted fundraising event I Am More Than What You Sea (in San Diego) and I was blown away by the whole program. It is always great to collaborate with amazing women and be a part of these awesome programs to help empower our youth! 

Any and all donations will be collected after class and sent to the Mini Mermaid Running Club. The regular drop in rate of $20 is suggested, but you are welcome to donate more to this fun and valuable program. 

Register just like normal HERE (through MINDBODY website or APP) and I'll tally up the participants and donations and send them off!

Join us for a full body workout with some resistance band work! Some movements are high impact (think jumping jacks or mountain climbers), but all exercises can be modified to a low- or no-impact version. We will keep your heart rate up and moving while you work on getting STRONG!

We will close the workout with a Vinyasa-inspired stretch and flow to get you ready for your Sunda Funday with the ATHLETA team! 

Bring your mat, your water bottle, wear your #UPFORANYTHING tights, and your SPEEDLIGHT top and LET'S GET AFTER IT!

Running for Weight Loss takes you through 8 weeks of not only a 5k and 10k running schedule, but also an integrated lifestyle accountability program which helps supports high-quality, sustainable, and realistic goal setting habits for maximum long term benefits.

Foam Rolling Workshop (Free)

Get the most out of your health and fitness resolutions! 

This FREE Alameda Community Workshop will consist of an informational session on recovery and pain management, followed by a hands on trigger point release workshop using foam rollers. 

Light snackies and refreshments will be available.

In this workshop, you will learn:
- what trigger points (or "knots") are and why we have them
- useful methods to relieve the tension and pain caused by trigger points
- how to determine which methods are right for you

Some rollers are available at The Training Station, but if you own one, please bring yours! Be sure to wear comfortable clothing to move around in.
